Why Every Woman Must Spice Up Their Sex Life In Marriage - BISHOP FUNKE FELIX- ADEJUMO

There have been growing concerns that more and more Christian homes are falling apart like a pack of badly arranged cards in recent years owing to sex incompatibilities between the couples. Often times, these Christian marriages crash on account of irreconciliable differences that revolve around infidelity or purely lack of sexual chemistry in the bedroom. It usually starts with either the husband or wife looking else where to fill the void left in the bed room by their partner. And from that moment, everything that could go wrong in the marriage begins to go wrong.

But these days, a lot of men and women of God are taking it upon themselves to educate Christian couples on how to spice up their marriage and get things right especially in the bed room where it appears a large chunk of marital issues emanate from. Reverend (now Bishop) Funke Felix-Adejumo is one of such women of God. She has been around in the vineyard for quite a while and is presently regarded as one of the most powerful female voices coming from the church of God. She is a renowned Nigerian female minister, philanthropist, and global speaker, known for her powerful ministry focused on women's empowerment through her Funke Felix-Adejumo Foundation, annual "The Woman" conferences, and work with her husband, Bishop Felix 'Remi Adejumo, at Agape Christian Ministries. A prolific author and advocate for women's dignity, she established significant projects like the Grace Orphanage and a children's hospital, impacting millions worldwide with her message of faith and purpose.

Born on January 28, 1963, in Ibadan, Oyo State, she grew up in a poverty-stricken home but persevered to become a renowned speaker, teacher, and counselor. Funke gave her life to Christ at 14 and later met her husband, Bishop Felix 'Remi Adejumo, at the University of Ibadan in 1982. They founded Agape Christian Ministries in 1988, which now has over 30 branches across Nigeria.

Through her Funke Felix-Adejumo Foundation, she supports widows, single mothers, and orphans. Notable initiatives include the Grace Orphanage, a children's hospital, and Another Chance Women's Home for domestic violence survivors.

She is a "Female Enthusiast" and "Global Speaker" with a mission to honor God and bless humanity, especially by restoring dignity to womanhood. Reverend Funke serves alongside her husband, Bishop Felix 'Remi Adejumo, at Agape Christian Ministries Worldwide, where she was recently consecrated as a Bishop, making history as a female Bishop in Nigeria. She leads her own Woman Ministry, a platform that has hosted large-scale international events like "The Woman Conference," which brings women globally for spiritual growth and impact. Through her foundation, the Funke Felix-Adejumo Foundation, (FFA) she runs flagship projects including the Grace Orphanage, a children's hospital, and the "Mothers' Summit," focusing on empowering women in various spheres of life.

She has authored over 50 books, including "Fifty Lessons Life Taught Me," and her messages emphasize faith, purpose, financial wisdom, and strong family values. She is married to Bishop Felix 'Remi Adejumo, and they have four biological children and grandchildren, plus many adopted children, forming the "Agape Family Worldwide".

In one of her recent teachings, she emphasizes the importance of a vibrant sex life in marriage. She implores the women to take the sexual needs of their partners seriously and not only that, they must learn to spice things up in the bedroom. Below are extracts from her teachings:

“Women must learn how to flirt with their husbands. Seduce him, he’s a ministry. All these missionary style should stop. You’re always at the bottom, what are you looking for there? Change your address, the bible says thou shall be above only. Who says you cannot invite your husband to have sex with you? Who says? So that you will not be thought of as a prostitute? Lie! Demonic aspect of the African culture! You can invite him, he’s your husband. Just send him a code. You can walk up to him and say, can we have a flight to Jerusalem tonight? He knows what you’re talking about. You can tell him I want deposit without withdrawal, he understands, that means you don’t want to be pregnant. Tickle him, play with him, sit on his laps while he’s watching the television. Some of you, when your pastors come to visit you or you have some guests, you will quickly remove the hair net, do you do your face very well, you say welcome, sir, welcome, ma. As soon as they leave, you put on one hairnet that you inherited from your grand mother and put it on your head.

Some of you, when last did you have a pedicure? Your feet are already pulling the bed sheets. You can’t do your fingers. Even if you don’t paint like this, let them remove all the dirty things there. Some of you will be biting your finger nails. Take care of yourself, go for pedicure. Let them put your feet inside warm water. Go for manicure, its not worldliness. Sit down, read magazines. I didn’t say read the book of Zephaniah or Habakuk, no. Read a magazine. Please, let’s bring fun and spice back into our marriage, seduce him.

Its not every time you have sex. It goes down after some time, I’m telling you. If your marriage is based on sex, then, you have lost it, so there must be other things that must keep the marriage going. As the man ages, the generator also grows old. When you’re newly married, you could have sex four times a day. In the kitchen, in the bathroom, anyhow, anywhere. That’s why I always tell couples, when you’re newly married, don’t let anybody interfere because you need to bond. It will tell in the ginning of your marriage. It will tell in later years. Sex is like the water that mixes the sand and the cement in building. So, you must have it anywhere, it doesn’t have to be initiated by the man. It’s a sign of immaturity to say until my husband makes the move, I don’t want to appear cheap. Excuse me, you’re living in the stone age. He’s your husband, it‘s your marriage.

Some of us, we have African background, you don’t want to say I want sex, okay, let me teach you what to say. Maybe you’re serving his food or something, just whisper to him in case the children are there, ‘I want a flight to Jerusalem tonight.’ The man understands. Or you say to him, tonight, I would like you to make deposit without withdrawal. He knows what you’re talking about. Speak to him in your own language.

You must bring variety to your sex life. How come it’s the woman that is always below every time when the bible says thou shall be above only? Every time, its missionary, missionary, bring some fun to your marriage. If you need to check into the hotel sometimes, go ahead and do it. And some of you, the reason why your sex life is bad is because you don’t exercise. Every morning I jump up a minimum of 100 or 200 times before I have my bath. I’m 62 years, some of you are 35, you will be panting heavily if you try that because you’re not used to doing it. I jump up everyday. I don’t want to be slim but I want my heart to be fit. Some of you will stay in bed all day, eat pounded yam plus bush meat and add Maltina and milk, you’re digging your own grave with your teeth. You’re knocking on the door of the ministry of Cholestrol. The size of your tummy should be very close to the size of your neck, that’s how to be healthy. So, let’s keep working out. All of us cannot be slim, but you must be fit. They say there’s a research that says if you sit down everyday for 30 minutes, you cut short your life by ten years.

So, sometimes, instead of the lift, go on the stairs. Instead of driving short distance, walk. Husband and wife, walking binds you together, walk. And I must say this, women, dress well o. All this looking 67 at 37 is enough. Be a different woman to your husband every time. A research was conducted and it was discovered that the male specie loves variety. A cock was brought to make love to a particular hen, after the fifth round, it couldn’t do anything again. The same cock was dropped among many hens, it went fifteen rounds. The research took eight years, so it was concluded that the male specie likes variety. Because your husband is a born again, he’s a man of God, he’s a Christian and he wants to go to heaven he cannot keep tasting women all over the place, you as his wife, must keep changing and evolving for him. Thank God for wig. Today, it is Bob Marley, next tomorrow it is short. If you see tomorrow, I might be putting on something else. That’s the variety we’re talking about. You can put on your Spaghetti top and short knicker one Saturday morning, you are permitted to tempt your husband. Some of you, the only night wear you have is the one your grandmother put in her will for you in 1926. You now tie wrapper in the house.

I have said this over and over, every woman must have two kinds of night wears, the regular night wear, but the second one is what I call Transparent Honesty. Tempt your husband. Don’t dress like a panel beaten Volkswagen car. Be attractive. When you see some men, you say wow, but when you see their wives, you’re wondering, is this the grand mother or whatever? Carry yourself with dignity. As a woman, dress very well. And most times, you don’t even need a fortune to dress well.”
