He was born into a Muslim family named Sanyaolu in Abeokuta, Ogun State, before his father changed the family name to Ogundipe. His Muslim name is Wasiu, and his wife’s name is Sakirat. His mother's name is Risikat, and his father’s name is Sulaimon. His younger sisters also had Islamic names before they all converted to Christianity, joining the Christ Apostolic Church located at 31 Church Street, Oshodi, over four decades ago.
Lack of University Education
Despite being one of the most visible Celestial Prophets in Nigeria, he did not attend university. He is dynamic, versatile, and well-grounded in the Word of God, which has endeared him to many people across the country. Interestingly, many do not know that he speaks good English and has a strong command of the language.
