t is a common
scenario, right? Every now and then you hear ladies whose bosses are male
complain about their boss flirting with them or outrightly asking them out.
Sometimes, things go well. Sometimes, they don't. There are, for example,
instances where the lady politely turns down her boss love overtures and the
man takes it nicely and maturely and they both move on. But there have also been
instances where things don't quite work out like that. It's either the lady
gets sacked or she's frustrated to a point where she has to put in her
resignation. And yes, some have been even luckier. They go on to have some
really blissful relationship with their boss while some have gotten married to
their boss. Different strokes for different strokes, right? Which ever side of
the divide you belong, here are seven obvious signs your boss wants to sleep
with you.
*He suddenly begins to
ask for private meetings with you. When this starts to happen and you can't
seem to understand the rationale for the private meeting meeting, then
something is wrong. The man obviously wants to start getting really personal
with you.
*He treats you
differently. Once your boss begins to treat you differently from the way he
treats other employees, then you can be sure something fishy is going on. If he
gives you a little extra income or promotes you even though you're fairly new
in the organisation, you must shine your eyes, something else may follow soon.
*Your boss flirts with
you. Now flirting is a huge sign of someone's interest in you. The moment your
boss starts flirting with you, then something's coming up. Flirting is meant to
build sexual tension between two people. It's also one of the commonest ways to
say to a woman, 'I want you to be mine.'
*Your boss tells you
about his personal life. This can only mean one thing, he wants you to have an
intimate relationship with you. If your boss talks about personal stuffs to
you, especially in the area of dating and sex, then it's clear he wants to
study your reaction and see how much you're interested in him. He wants to
bring you closer to him.
*You spend time
together outside the office. Okay, you could say its normal for a co-worker to
take you out for lunch. But once your boss begins to frequently take you
outside the office for lunch or something, or generally wants to hang out with
you outside of work time, it's a clear sign he's interested in something more
than just work.
*You get gifts. They
may not be huge gifts but they're still gifts anyway because he's not handing
out same thing to everyone in the office. When he gives you these gifts, he
singles you out as the only one deserving it. And then he tells you not to tell
anyone he's just given you a gift. Beware, it could be a Greek gift, he may
still ask you for something in return.
*Personal calls and
emails. Another very obvious sign. You're home relaxing on a Sunday and your
phone suddenly rings out and the caller turns out to be your boss. And he tells
you he's just calling to wish you a pleasant Sunday. And he begins to
repeatedly make these calls. Be warned, he's got something up he's
sleeves.
